Policy and Legislation Development

While every national strategy indicates a series of directions for improvement, it is usually national legislation and policy which provides the framework for change.  ABCD has worked on a gamut of policy and legislation development projects to help direct the desired change usually identified by the strategy.  ABCD’s work includes the development of legislative and policy related recommendations in the Jordan Vision 2020 (V1.0 and V 2.0) as well as the Jordan National ICT strategy (2013 – 2017).  ABCD has also worked with UN Women- Iraq on Developing Guidelines for Streamlining Gender into the SME Policy Framework in Iraq.  Furthermore, ABCD has collaborated with the Jordanian Young Entrepreneurs Association (YEA) on developing a national Small and Medium Business Agenda which is focused on facilitating SME establishment and growth.   It is within such policies and suggested legislation that countries and governments can progress in a desired direction.
